Introduction
Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) is a non-governmental, non-political, socio-cultural,
service-cum-sanskar oriented, secular and voluntary organization. It was established in 1963
with the sole objective of DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH OF OUR BELOVED NATION - BHARAT - IN ALL FIELDS
OF HUMAN ENDEAVOUR - cultural, social, academic, moral and spiritual -by promoting a sense of
true patriotism, national unity and integrity. The action plan of BVP is executed through five
sutras- Sampark (Fellowship), Sahyog (Co-operation), Sanskar (Moral orientation), Sewa(Service)
and Samarpan (Commitment). At present, BVP has approximately 1,400 branches all over India and 12
branches in foreign countries with a family membership almost 44,000 families. BVP's main aim is to
organize and motivate the elite and intellectual citizens to serve the poor, disabled, illiterate
and ignorant breathen with true spirit of service as a duty and not as an act of charity.
